  The Mexican national team has confirmed a friendly match against Ecuador to be held in Guadalajara on Oct. 14, during the October FIFA international window.

  WHAT IVAR SISNIEGA SAID

  FMF CEO Ivar Sisniega denied reports suggesting that Mexico and Argentina would face off in a friendly match in Chicago this October.

  “The Argentina story isn’t true," he said. "It was something someone mentioned, and it took on a life of its own, but there’s no truth to it. They’re not one of the opponents we’re considering for November."
